Review
Good cast in weak sideshow comedy; Morgan masquerades as title character in one of his less memorable roles. **
(Leonard Maltin's Video and Movie Guide 1997 Edition).
As usual, Frank Morgan plays an inveterate liar. This time he thinks he can get his hands on the fortune of his daughter, Mary Howard, but finding she has no money, takes her to a theatrical boardinghouse owned by Billie Burke. Bonita Granville and others there suspect he lies about his investments, that he's really trying to marry the boardinghouse keeper to have things made easier for himself. Their suspicions are confirmed when they find him working as a circus wild man.
